WACAS Tardy Policy

It is important to be on time and ready to learn. Just like adults need to show up for work on time, students need to show up for school on time. 

School Doors Open at 7:15am 

The warning bell rings at 7:33am.

Class begins at 7:35am. If you arrive after 7:35am you will be considered LATE.

Students arriving late disrupt the learning that has already begun in the classrooms and makes the teachers who are on duty late to their own classrooms.

 

Tardy Warnings 

  • 1st - 5th Occurrences - Tardy Contract
  • 6th Occurrences - Parent Conference
  • 7th- 10th Occurrences - Referral (Failure to Comply)
