WACAS Tardy Policy

It is important to be on time and ready to learn. Just like adults need to show up for work on time, students need to show up for school on time. 

School Doors Open at 8:25am 

The warning bell rings at 8:43am.

Class begins at 8:45am. If you arrive after 8:45am you will be considered LATE.

Students arriving late disrupt the learning which has already begun in the classrooms and makes the teachers who are on duty late to their own classrooms.

 

Tardy Warnings 

• 4th Tardy- Teacher call to home
• 5th Tardy- Intervention with Attendance Team
• 6th Tardy- Parent Conference
• 7th and above-Disciplinary Action
